Do the club say that to a little girl who has just seen her daddy get punched and kicked to the ground and possibly etched on her memory for life?

Stupid argument, could happen anywhere. If this was a BIG problem, then maybe, but very isolated incidents are just unfortunate.

But a lot more likely to happen when you got hundreds of pissed up scumbags who have no respect for nothing and no one.

Absolutely. Whilst there are problems with a number of clubs, the worst behaved at the AMEX are always going to be Millwall, Palace, and Portsmouth. So these clubs will have to be managed differently.

You should work for the British Transport Police.

I agree with this. Yes fine, no need for most games. But for the likes of Millwall and Palace it should definitely happen.

Chelsea fans at Leeds last night were still there for a good half hour after the game. It's accepted practice where there is potential for trouble.

I get the treating fans properly point, but both Palace and Millwall have shown they don't deserve to be treated properly. Treat them like the animals that they are.

Absolutely

Wouldn't it just be cheaper and easier to ban away supporters in cases where misbehaviour can't be contained within the structure we already have?

Millwall should be on a last warning. They bring 1,800 and cause no end of problems. So then we restrict them to STH only, and 1,400 tix, and problems are reduced but still way beyond normal clubs. One last chance - cut their allocation still further, and if they can't behave just ban them. Problem solved.

Absolutely - altho the 'chairman' if you can call him that, of CPFC 2010 would just ban our fans from Palace's place as a tit for tat childish measure, mainly from moaning supporters - bit like the away tix last yr (they didnt realise we sell out the home end and they dont so they could afford to give us lots of tickets but we couldn't them)

Do the club say that to a little girl who has just seen her daddy get punched and kicked to the ground and possibly etched on her memory for life?

Sick isn't it..?

Police are considering holding Palace fans back after our game next year, although a host of measures will be discussed at meeting with clubs, fans etc in the run up to the game.

I don't see the need to hold fans back but think there should be a more visible police presence in the stretch from West Stand Upper to away entrance. Hardly a copper or steward to be seen round there.

I agree whole heartedly, Walt, although I do attribute this to the five pints I had at lunchtime.

Highly dodgy at the railway station queue, not because it was Millwall, but because any twat could set up a chain reaction. I have seen it happen once before* after going to a thousand matches. It is the organisation of the queues that is the problem. It is an accident waiting to happen, unless the behaviour of fans has changed after Hillsborough, which it might have done, but there are still twats around.

(*About four near misses as well, all at away grounds)

Whats the point of keeping away fans in the ground when there will be loads of home fans still in and around the ground until the bars close ?

What a load of hypocritical b-llocks.
Your fans behaved like pricks in and around Selhurst and also at Molineaux this Season ,yet have the cheek to slag off Millwall and Palace fans.
Angels your not the old bill know it too.
Smashing up seats and cars in around and Selhurst is what you call good behaviour is it?

Are you saying there was a spot in Croydon that wasn't already smashed up by your own locals? How did that get missed?!

Although I do agree that we could never ban a club from attending our ground, without the same being dealt to us by anyone who feels its right.

Are Millwall banned from anywhere else as I'm sure they've done a lot worse at other places?

All Palace and Millwall fans should be shackled up after the game 'Hannibal Lecter' style and frog marched to the train to sit in silence. Problem solved.

:ohmy:why arn't the likes of millwall supporters held behind after the game for 20 minutes or so to give us a chance to get away.i saw a lady get a smack for nothing by the thugs

Do the club say that to a little girl who has just seen her daddy get punched and kicked to the ground and possibly etched on her memory for life?

Did these actually happen? What did you do when you saw it happen?

Actually what should you do? We all know how ban-happy guilty-whether-innocent-or-not they are at the AMEX. Chances are anyone who got involved would be banned and lose their season ticket.

Maybe a question for Ask the Club? :lolol:

Palace should be kept back for 20 minutes in March. If they recieve their allocation of 3,300 and can you imgagine the trouble at Falmer station.

Cant imagine thousands of us and them having polite conversations and wishing them well on promotion, it'll be more like the wild west.

I'm interested if it was reported as there's cctv all around the external area of the stadium, and if anyone was prepared to say anything to the thugs. According to previous threads yesterday most Millwall backed off immediately when someone their own size stood up to them.

Just escort them all onto the platform and get them away as soon as possible, it may cause delays for home fans but I'm sure parents would rather be home 30 minutes later and be safe than have knuckle draggers trying to fight them..
