Carroll expects to just overpower any defender, physically humiliating and owning them like a Goliath putting a little schoolboy across his knee.
Notice HIM doing the whinging and bleating to the ref about how unfair it all was that he couldn't get an easy time in our 6-yard box!
That, is Adam el-Abd - the real giant on that pitch.

When opposing strikers are complaining, crying and throwing the toys - be THANKFUL we have el-Abd on our team.

To be fair to the ref he did tell the **** carroll to shut the fcuk up

if one paid attention, most of the dancing occurs before the ball is played, so no foul, he is a master of his art.

Not correct as a player can be booked before the ball is played.

you either do what el-abd does, or you do what dunk did and let carrol use you as a climbing frame as was the case for goal no. 6.

Can't argue with that but he WAS being fouled by El Abd and many a ref would have at least spoken to or booked El Abd and if he'd been penalised with a penalty for some of the hugging and pulling we realy wouldn't have been able to complain.

Overall though he was one of our more committed players and I'm not actually complaining about the way he played, just commenting.
