Drinking on exterior concourse...

I hadnt purchased alcohol inside the ground, I had just for off at the station, walking up with a can in hand, standing by thenear the steps outside the north stand.

I havent got a problem with it, if they arte the rules then so be it, I was just wondering if there is any legislation not allowing me to drink outside of the ground.

I am assuming the exterior concourse is a public place?
