Why only a sds drill. What ever did we do before? A lot of office based bullshit on here.



Makes me smile at the lack of any simple practical knowledge on here sometimes.

What we did before was burn out half a dozen drill bits drilling 3 holes with a weak ass black and decker. SDS drills have a more powerful hammer action and is the currently the best available tool for the job.

And your advice on fitting a curtain pole is?...............

An SDS drill and decent drill bit is definitely the best tool for the job when drilling Into concrete and brick.

So you are obviously a time served member of the construction industry, judging by your post.
So glad you weren't one of my lecturers at Brighton Technical College or one of the tradesmen that i worked with whilst serving my 4 year apprenticeship as a carpenter.

I bought a set of Piranha bits recently, cost a bit but drill through anything and yes I am in construction.
