It's all very well providing a service but are they paying for it? Let's hope that seagulls.co.uk, the Argus etc don't see all the articles and photos that are being happily copied and pasted in order to deliver a 'professional site', albeit now with sources quoted.
Goes far beyond the odd cut and paste job you get on here.

It's a great demonstration of how the Wordpress platform has developed.
With some high quality original content it could be one hell of a site.

I find this whole thing sad. LG was/is a great lady. I probably did not help with my " lovely lady " thread but I did it with the best of intentions, hey ho. I just don't get the vitriol.

In case either of these are aimed at me...
I posted a link on here when the site first launched and next-to-no NSCers were aware of it wishing them well. Since then...
- I and NSC have been the subject of a legal threat from those behind SC. I understand NSP received the same.
- Some of those associated with SC have used NSC's PM system to try and take NSCers to their site.
- Slinky, possibly others, keep, posting links on NSC presumably to get people to head over.
I think I've kept quite a dignified silence and I still wish nothing but the best to those looking to further the online Albion fan community.

No not aimed at you, for what ever reason the thread was started, I just do not see what is being gained from bringing up this topic again. Seems to me that it is only advertising SC and not achieving anything else

The Seagulls Chat forum will never be close to NSC for numbers or posts and threads and it's never going to be any type of competition, the people who started it did not do it because we didn't get our way here at all. We were told and it's clear the feeling is still the same that how we wanted to chat and interact did not suit NSC, we were told over and over again 'we just didn't get NSC'.
We quietly went somewhere else, we don't mean any harm to NSC or it's members we just want to get on with chatting the way we like it.
