I think yes, but won't be worried if we don't. There are going to be a number of teams there or there abouts right until the end, so it's going to be tight. If we fade away without much of a challenge, I'd be disappointed, but it certainly wouldn't be panic stations.
Ulloa will surely take time to settle in properly, but he looks to have the potential to be that missing piece of the jigsaw (on the evidence of 1 appearance admittedly...). If we can keep the core of this team together this year and find ourselves still in the Championship (which I think we will), we will be a force to be reckoned with.

We will do a Reading, and storm the league. No I don't really think that, but the play offs are definitely achievable from our position.

Agree about those three. Hull, Palace and Boro are all catchable though imho - we are better than all of those teams, especially now we have Ulloa and with Vicente back in the squad.
This is where I'm at. If Cardiff haven't wrapped it up yet, then they certainly won't finish any worse than 2nd. As it is, I suspect Leicester will finish second, and the only other team likely to finish in the top 2 is Watford.

We can still finish above Hull, Palace and Boro - we are only 5-7 points behind them and have yet to play them a second time. However, we've already lost to all three this season, but if Ulloa is the answer to our goalscoring prayers then we are still well in contention.

Reluctantly No. We are too much the draw specialist and I do not see that changing as it seems part of the tactics to sit back and let the opposition run at us instead of us attacking the other team.

Don't you think there are seven or eight other teams who think that about their teams though?

Of course there are. And the better the standard of player we get in - the more the deficiences show. I mean a centre half goes off injured and Calderon goes into the centre. He did well - but the depth can't be that great. And we had Lopez at full back for a couple of games. No squad is perfect, and it is the best we have seen for many a long year here, but is it that great in comparison with clubs who have been knocking around the Premiership/Championship for a number of years.

Head says 7th which will be solid progress :)

As long as we are above Palace, then I'd be happy with that. Otherwise I'd want us to scrape the play-offs even if we get battered (don't think we would just saying).

Every year we finish higher I'm happy. If we did finish 7th this season, that would mean make play-offs (or better :albion: year after)

I've said we'll finish 7th for ages.

60 minutes of Ulloa now makes me say we'll finish 6th. The guys the difference.

An emphatic YES from me.

I think we won't be far off the top 2.

In all honesty, I don't think we will.

We have a better squad than last season but just haven't been able to turn good performances into points as well as conceding a number of late goals. Whereas last season we were quite fortunate with a number of late winners.

We will fall just short 7th or 8th with a good base to build a very serious challenge next year

I think it will depend on signing a quality CB. Without - about 7th or 8th With - 5th or 6th

All of last season, whatever position we were, I predicted 10th for the Albion.

This season I have predicted 6th. I see no reason to change my view.
