Oh I'm sorry I've missed it.
I do loves a lunatic and Rendell is proper hatstand mentals, in the nicest, clearly far to intelligent for the rest of us, kind of way.

He's brilliant isn't he. What is it, about 6 or 7 languages he's fluent in?, and not afraid to ask the questions no one else dares to ask in any one of them.

Two more stages to go yet, and Saturday is the queen stage. Better still, with a bunch sprint, TTT, followed by another bunch sprint, you haven't really missed much so far (bar fantasy Vuelta research points of course )

He does speak a lot of languages, I don't know how many but they are very random and not just the usual collect of similar European ones.
Regarding his interview 'technique' he has to be on some kind of spectrum.
He seems to be completely unaware of when he's about to get chinned.

When I said he probably runs the entire programme himself, I wasn't far out it appears

Sorry if this has been covered before but have any of you seen the docu-film Inspired To Ride? I watched on a flight last week and loved it.

It covers the 2014 TransAm race - over 4000 miles from the US west to east coasts. No stages, no support vehicles - just 45 riders heading off unsupported to do their best - cycling hundreds of miles a day (and night!). Mike Hall is an impressive character but my goodness - Juliana Buhring is an extraordinary woman!

Well worth a watch for anyone who enjoys cycling.

I love the track cycling , it has to be the most exciting form of the sport to watch live in the veledromes or on TV. I wasn't expecting the medals to flow quite as they have this time round , and there have been some magnificent performances from Team GB . I'm hoping Cav finally gets his olympic medal, but I have a nasty feeling his mistake last night may come back to haunt him.

Take a clean pair of pants!!

Resist the temptation to look at the track from the 'outside'.
You're very first view of any velodrome needs to be as you walk up from underneath.
Hence needing clean pants.
