Nope, just know you lot are all experienced riders. Well you know what your doing.
You should start charging.
There's a little cycling column in the Sunday Times, with a 'cycle doc' section at the bottom.
Fella wrote in with £500-£800 to spend on his first proper bike.

We could easily sue the Sunday Times reply for plagiarism!!!

I fear I may be joining the funked spoke club. On smooth tarmac at medium to fast speed I get a regular bump/clunk. Diagnosis please.

Weather went right. Got up this morning expecting not to do the 40 miler as planned but did it. Nice, but no pre ride porridge which may have made it a tough second 20. Good to see my average speed was 14.9 after the first climb. Not so good to see that my chain off put me as something like 1698th out of 1700 doing Groombridge Hill. Sake.

So you don't see a car for ages, then at the top of a little hill where there is a junction, one is waiting. One foot out, then balance sent me the other way. Second one out in nick of time.

Before you get too involved check the valve on the inner tubes.
If that's not snugly in position it'll reverberate through the bike.

Deflate, check the whole tyre and tube are where they should be, esp the valve, then inflate.

Always start simple (advise I'd love to listen too!!)

54 miles to add to the geeks kitty. Impressed with my 16 stone mate, did it on his MTB at 13mph average.
Perhaps more importantly how was your pupil this morning?

I'm a little torn over Fleche Wallone.
I've got a bit of a thing for Lampre.
Ulissi with no Ardennes pedigree I think is too short @ 18/1.
Costa looks tasty @ 40/1.

Moreno and Pip are very short priced favourites.

But after all that I fancy a piece of Gasparotto @ 33/1.

Before I forget, I reckon the BHA jerseys will be out in force on the ride to Paris. Another possible reason for them selling out.

I'll say it again about Ulissi - still not good enough in the big races over long distances with the big guns present. Stick to backing him for the Italain semi-classics, he'll win those all day long.

Cue a Diego Ulissi masterclass tomorrow now

Edit: Having said that, FW is shorter so probably his best chance out of all the big ones.

Very open Geeks question.

Anyone ever ridden a Titanium framed bike, and if so what did you make of it?

His lack of Ardennes racing is turning me off, but I do expect a decent ride.
Costa has been around the lead groups recently without ever putting his nose into the wind.
I wouldn't be surprised if between them Lampre fashion something sneaky while Belken and BMC are 'battling'.

Meanwhile, Katusha have Purito riding for Moreno. Bingo!

Absolutely but odds of 2/1 and even smaller have no place in a bike race.
No favourite should be shorter than 4/1.
