The fact that this is only the 3rd bout of Noone hand wringing since he left says it all.
Nobody ever disputed his talent, just if he could use it.He couldn't for us, and hasn't been able to for Cardiff. Then up pops a purple patch and he's the greatest player ever. When did he leave, 2 years ago.I bet for 20 of those months Cardiff fans have wanted rid of him.

Go over to the Cardiff board and ask them. They love him from day one and still do till this day and when he's not starting they are outraged.

Saw the match on TV, Noone looked twice the player he was here, the move has certainally paid off for him, pity our coaching staff could not get the same response from him.
How can you say that when the games Noone has been productive in is clearly still in single figures, over 2 seasons.

Nobody is doubting his ability.
It's his ability to be consistent that 148 voters are questioning.

That just isn't the case.

We've had plenty of 'why the fook did we waste money on Noone' threads pop up here.

A la kevtherev people only comment when it suits their agenda.
Currently Noone is in the middle of a love-in, and I'm pleased.

6 months ago the Negative Nerys' would have been sharpening their knives.

We should definitely have kept him, 4 wingers on the bench would have provoked a riot on Saturday

Wingers with Nooney's skills are almost inevitably inconsistent. Just look at the diverse opinions on Kaz and Will B.

Solly's getting more steady positive press because of the potential factor, and he's young.

At the time Nooney went, the deal made good sense. He's delivered some great performances for Cardiff, and scored the odd goal, but may still end up back in the Championship next season. No guarantees if we'd kept him that he wouldn't continue to show flashes of brilliance, and regular helpings of not a lot.

The point at which he went you could have been forgiven for thinking his name was Craig NoonendProduct. It was tosh then - and is demonstrably tosh now. Also Noone's verdict that Cardiff were a lot more EPL ready than us was shown to be the case. Good luck to the bloke. It looked reasonable business at the time - now however ...............

He will rip us a new one, and it'll be highlight of his season.

C'est la vie.
