That delivered a Proustian rush of memories of the shoot out v Fulham a little over 27years ago. Tempted to nip up The Exchange for a couple of pints for continuity.

We have been really pathetic. It's a recurring theme with our brilliant club imo. We seem to get ideas above our station at times and get too casual or 'earning the right' as the dinosaur pundits may say. We've been loving having so many players at the WC and Ali MAc and we haven't been focused and absolutely pathetic in front and in and around goal.

Then the penalties. I don't want PAscal to take a penatlty for us ever again. I said the same after his palace 'effort'. Why a short stuttered run up? It's shit and doesn't work. f*** off with that Pascal.

Trossard casual little two step run up. Pathetic. Run up and hit it true.

Ferguson. At least he hit it hard. If keeper goes the right way though its a save.

Dunk. Another silly little run up and lucky for it to go in.

And then we have Solly March. What the hell is wrong with him in front of goal? People used to say it was bad luck. It's not. He's cowardly and lacks basic technique/ability at shooting from a player who is technically good at other areas. Leaning back for penalty number 5 with the chance to go through and smashing it miles over the bar. Woeful is kind.

(Didn't see Moises penalty)

Real shame. RDZ needs to absolutely lay into them

Seems some are ok with defeat! How long have they had to practice penalties. The only chance for a sniff of silverware.

The result should never have been in doubt.
Pretty sure penalties didn’t enter the team talk or game plan

For all you that rave about March he is just a good defender in PL but he does and never has contributed anything in attack. We know he cant shoot but had no defending to do tonight and was rubbish going forward.
Back to PL and people raving about him chasing opposition WB
He’s been great for us in countless EPL matches. Playing a key part in famous wins.

Which must’ve been a painful watch for you.

it goes as far back as needing 1 point from 3 games to win the Championship title with promotion, we should be use to it by now

Cowardly?

He just can’t score, in the heat of the moment it’s just not in his locker.

That haven't won in six league games and got knocked out of the FAC by Stockport.
Continuing the age old tradition of when you're on an awful run, losing and confidence shot to pieces, the perfect cure is when Albion rock up to humiliate themselves and give you a confidence boosting adrenalin shot to end the run.

We're masters at it.

Er, don't forget the rest of them. Including the World Cup star that people say is worth £100m.

But yeah, blame Solly March for it all!
You can defend Solly for as long as you like but can you name any other player that is worse in front of goal. How can anybody even miss the target from there let alone a pro footballer.

March .... never has contributed anything in attack.)
Solly's not had a great time in front of goal so far this year, but never?

Never, you say?

(Okay, he didn't mean it, but it was a contribution that saw us get to Wembley).

Absolute dog of a performance. Shocking. Trossard actually looked the worst player on the pitch. And those Pens 😩

Oh and come back VAR, all is forgiven.

That ref was the worst I can remember. There must be better refs in the Sunday leagues.
