When they renumbered my seat in the East Upper we were squeezed up to allow more seats. Sat in the Lower West (north end) recently I noticed the gap between seats was still large and they'd not been squeezed up.
My guess is that those seats have now been shoved up right next to each other thus making a gap at the tunnel end.
