I saw him at away at Spurs in the league cup years ago when he was very young. He was excellent. Since then he has won a league with Wigan and I thought he would be our number 1 after Ryan. Goes to show how tough it is. Others have had the chance and done well so he's still in the wings.

Yes. Played well in those few games under Hyypia. Probably hasn’t done enough during his loans, little bit weak on crosses.
