Lingard was awful for us last season.

I would have thought that watching some of our play this year might have put some context on what a decent player Lingard is. He's a top 6 player at this level.

We were a better side with him in it.

He's only 29 - and it's only three years since he last played for Real Madrid, he is a money grabber as emphasised by his move to Anzhi Machakala (?) - do you really think it's possible!? It would be a great signing - have a feeling he wouldn't be great for dressing room harmony though...

For some reason Thierry Henry feels more realistic, I have just had flu and so could still be high on Night Nurse though. Anyone see him in the MLS - is he any good at 37!?
