But what if Boro RALLY? Have we considered the RALLYING?

thats would be far more likely with a new manager. with Karanka remaining, the problems remain. it might be brushed over for a week or two, the issues and conflicts would have been resolved really.

I reckon that's Boro's season done now, Play offs at best.

A lot of people on the Boro message boards are commenting on how happy and relaxed he seems. He did say 'the club didn't want to sack him and he didn't want to leave'

Doesn't matter if he's happy or not really. This must of unsettled the entire club, and at the worst possible time...for them.

The club might want him to be there but it's clear some of the players don't.

Not really up on all this but does this mean he can drop Rhodes and Downing now?

Well, its just damage limitation now isn't it. As he's staying (for now), he was only ever going to come out and play the whole thing down.

Whatever the cause though, whatever the rights and wrongs of what triggered it, the fact of the matter is he flounced off on the eve of a crucial game, as they all are at this stage, leaving his team to their own devices at Charlton. And they got beat again. That was totally unprofessional and to my mind pretty much unacceptable. If they dip out on automatic (or worse) by a couple of points, then his hissy fit will have played a part in it. The damage may already have been done anyway.

Hopefully.

Bit confused. He says the chairman is cool with him and that it was nothing to do with the 'fantastic' (expensive) Boro players... So... Erm... What was it about fella?!

Meanwhile at Hull, Steve Bruce tonight quoted as saying "Everybody's anxious, which is not a good thing."

friday night melt down......0-0 with the match finishing with 8 players a side , both managers getting 3 match sideline bans and both clubs being docked 3 points for crowd trouble....
