As I mentioned on another thread two prominent bits of BHA grafitti - 'ALBION' and 'THE GULLS' are sprayed on the pier in this film 'supposedly' set in Brighton, but filmed in Bournemouth I believe:

The Gulls?? sounds more like Torquay

Yes, or to be more precise Sussex Football Club (or some such deliberate derivation). We were the best team in all of England but our fans tended to go on the rampage in mass brawls if memory serves.

Unfortunately I don't know the episode / series number but it's a bit of a classic! There was a thread about it on here a few years ago

Going somewhat OT has anyone with too much time on their hands checked the episodes of "Life on Mars" that he featured in to see if he managed to squeeze in any gratuitous Albion references - perhaps we beat Manchester City to Gene Hunt's disgust.

Indeed, the researcher for that film obviously knew little about football. Seeing Twin Peaks actor Kyle Maclachlan playing a Sussex University Lecturer is another bonus feature.
