The Troubadour
Mattia Destra the latest name to appear on twitter.

Bologna striker, scored 5 in 15 so far this season.

We'll have a whole new team at this rate :)

very experienced Irish international, played at Celtic, and in Russia, hasn't had much of a sniff this season. Will want 1st team football with the Euros coming up. Never been particularly impressed when I've seen him, but has plenty of incentive to give it a crack here if we wanted him and surplus at Everton. maybe worth a half season loan, better than VLP ? Yep

Won't be us!!

It’s believed the winger would relish the chance of a return to his first club but McGeady had been hoping that Everton might smooth his passage home by agreeing to cover a percentage of his pay packet, which is thought to be in excess of £50,000-a-week.

However, Martinez has now made it clear that no such compromise package will be agreed and has told the 29-year-old’s advisers to find a club which is willing and able to foot the entire bill from now until the end of the season.

He certainly isn't worth that to us !!

Here
Is Ridgewell injured already?

I heard he went to the forest and cut down a few trees so he'd have something to celebrate with when he scored like he did at Portland Timbers.

We should do that at the AMEX, but with a beach groyne, and a bucket and spade. :moo:

With Bong back in 3-4 weeks, it seems that we are looking for

1 striker
2 wingers
(maybe) another central midfielder

Everybody is assuming there wont be a set back to the recovery schedule or recurrence of the injury to Bong, can we afford to take that chance again.? if we can find an experienced replacement for much the same wages as Chicksen wouldnt that be a sensible move.

He'll be staying at Everton then.

Rosenior? (although I do understand he's not good enough and wasn't bought as cover).
