Tesco.

I never trust greengrocers, they might be making up the prices as they go along, they announce a final figure probably out of thin air. And they choose the stuff themselves, easy to offload damaged goods. Too many risks dealing with dodgy blokes, much better to use a supermarket.

Much better to select your own stuff and have someone other than the owner weigh it and take payment.

Any supermarket, most are better than the local greengrocers who tend to purchase the lower quality and cheap stuff from the fruit and veg market up near Asdas.

I used to work in Neville's Natures' Way on Stoneham Road, no longer there now sadly.

We had the perfect blend of leaving people to browse and helping as required. Simpler times.

You might be surprised to know that the fresh fruit and veg at mulberry is really good, very tasty, excellent quality and
Reasonably priced. They use the same supplier as my local greengrocer in seaford - lovely, possibly next best to growing your own

The freshest veg is in the Tesco opposite the Dyke Tavern.
