Wikipeadia: The stadium currently holds the highest average attendance by percentage of capacity filled in the entire Football League Championship.

That is your Amex stadium......fill it to the rafters and this week it will be the highest attendance in the Championship. can we beat Derby's 27,437 and can Sheffield Wednesday top the lot.

Rock the Amex:rave:

It is not physically possible for us to top 27,437, so the answer is no.

Apologies 27,500 by December...........only 27,250 at present, is that correct?

Change the Chant for maximum noise!

It's not all about North Stand Brighton Boys (and girls) v West Stand, we now have a potential 28, 000 Brighton boys and girls, lets make that count and change the chanting to East Side v West Side, that way we can maximise our already phenominal noise and make the Amex a truly intimidating place for the opposition

Change the chant and create maximum noise!!!

Given that we now have potential gates of 28,000, let's make it count and change the chanting from, North Stand Brighton Boys V West Stand Brighton Boys to East Side Brighton Boys V West Side Brighton Boys. That way we can possibly increase the noise levels SIXFOLD! How intimidating would that be for the opposition. We could also add in, and all together the immortal words of Queen - WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU, NOW THAT WOULD BE LOUD! and could lead to a new Brighton song - We're from Brighton, we're so loud, we always do the Albion proud! - We will, we will rock you, we will will rock you

Lets rock and enjoy the journey to the premiership and beyond.

Noise levels at the Amex

Now that we have potential gates of 28,000 and over 30,000 by the end of the season, lets make it count.

The traditional chanting between West Stand and North Stand is at its limit even though gates are going to increase.

Let's involve all the fans in our chanting and change it to - we're the West Side, we're the west side, we're the west side Brighton Boys V We're the East Side, we're the east side, were the east side Brighton Boys. This could increase our noise levels sixfold.

We could also all join in with the classic words from Queen - We will, we will rock you, now that would be loud, very loud and be very intimidating for the opposition and could lead to a new Brighton song as we march into the premiership and beyond.

We're from Brighton, we're so loud, we really do the THE ALBION proud - we will, we will rock you - we will, we will, rock you!!!

Lets rock

Wow, very blue.

Agree, although so many will be in the habit of West and North it might be hard to change. East and South are now Albion though so need to be involved in that chant! I recall going to other grounds in the past and one stand kinda directing it, so for example the North Stand would go West Stand give us a song, and then South, then East etc. Maybe that would do the trick.

It will never work. The north stand will sing the whole game, the other stands will join in when they feel like it.
People please stop trying to "force" an atmosphere, last season the atmosphere was at its best when unique things happened on the pitch, it happened all by itself.
Oh and the big blue letters are horrible :lolol:

I agree. Thousands of BRIGHTON fans singing a QUEEN song will seem very intimidating to any homophobic away fans.
