We're hardly flooded with midgets are we. Murray and Hemed provide our aerial presence, backed up by Dunk and Goldson. As creative players, Knockaert and Pritchards heights are about as relevant as what they like for breakfast.

And WHERE exactly did Spurs say they were fortunate to get such a large fee ? Link?

I agree wheres the official statement from Spurs saying this. If its just someone who supports Spurs saying that then say so

Rule of thumb for future high profile player transfers in to the Albion - "don't get your hopes up he won't be signing for us"

If we know anything about the player discussing terms we are just being used as a benchmark figure to be released to other clubs once we have done negotiating.

Ward, Grabban, Clayton and now looking like Pritchard

You've been a member of this forum for 13 years and you still look for logic or reasoning in anything said by Perseus?

You're a moron.

I may be clutching at straws, but, Could this just be a tactic to get us to increase personal terms?

Maybe the player wants to join us, but the agent is just squeezing us for a bit more money by throwing Norwich's apparent interest into the negotiations.

The club then counter that, by leaking the Norwich interest to Naylor, in the hopes that Norwich distance themselves from the tapping up rumour.

Would be good

Anyone stopped to think he may speak to Norwich to weigh up his options and then choose us on merit? Still could happen easily. But money the concern. He doesn't necessarily have to share his agent's greed and may decide BHA is better for footballing reasons...

Doesn't seem to be reported anywhere bar the arsegas.. Naylor has either got himself a decent scoop here or has completely dropped a bollock.

the latter is the norm
