My 6 year old daughter likes singing about a chap called Al Bacon much to her own amusement. Aaaaaaaaal Baaaaaaaaacon, Aaaaaaaal Baaaaaaaacon.

In protest around Christmas time when she was learning the words to 'Little Donkey' for a school carol concert I hijacked the chorus to 'Score lots of goals tonight Albiooon Albiooon.

We're all a bit strange aren't we?

I've some heating system engineers from Leicester in this morning - one is a Foxes STH and another is a regular at Notts Forest. Over the inevitable mid-morning tea/coffee we've just had a chorus of; "Pay up Pompey, Pompey pay up!"

So not just in your house then? :wozza:

The cleaned-up version I've taught my 5 y.o:

Stevie Coppell smells of wee
With a knick knack paddy whack give the dog a bone
Crystal Palace naff off home.

Don't know about only in my own home, but I am currently working at All Souls Church, next to Broadcasting House. When I came back from a lunch break, the staff were all assembled on our steps, which is where they go for fire drills and actual alarms. I found myself singing "Is this your fire drill?" to myself. It was.

The song 'built this city' by Starship

We built this city
Built this city on vin-cen-te
We built this city
Built this city on vin-cen-te

Problem is he never plays so the song is a bit pointless at the moment ;)

As a young lad standing on the chicken run, I used to think the North stand boys were singing

' Alan Mullerys going on holiday' ( ....obviously later found out it was Alan Mullerys blue and white army..) As a kid I thought that this was directed at the Albions potentional to compete in Europe, hence the boss would need his passport.

Anyway back to the thread, on a Saturday if the Albion are playing away then whilst listening on player I often find myself singing this out loud. My family who already think as me as mad seem to bypass this, however my neighbours give me some strange looks!

If I could have one wish in life it wouldn't be to win the lottery etc.. but it would be for the entire North Stand to give out a nice rendition of

' Alan Mullerys going on holiday....Alan Mullerys going on holiday...'

One Direction - What makes you beautiful

Poyet you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you speak to refs gets me overwhelmed
But now you're wavering slightly, why can't you tell?
You don't know-oh
You don't need to go to Wolves.

If only you saw what I could see
You'd understand that they're a mediocre team
Right now I'm looking at you, and I can't believe
You don't know-oh-oh
You don't need to go to Wolves.
You don't need to go to Wolves.

Also there is no player at our club called Vincente.

Would probably work for Vicente though, give that a go.

This is my favourite ever thread. All the weird Shit we do in our heads laid out bare because it has an Albion connection.

Marvellous.

1) "Seagulls, Barmy Army! Seagulls, barmy army! Seagulls, barmy army!"

2) "Mackail-Smith is magic, he wears a magic hat,
And when he saw the Albion, he said i'm having that.
He didn't go to Palace or Pompey 'cause they're shite,
Instead he plays for Brighton cos they're f***ing dynamite,
ohhhhhhh... who's that team on the ball,
who's that team on the ball?"

[lead into spontaneous rendition of Seagulls! Seagulls!]
