Same here. I didn't celebrate the goal as I actually thought Gross was quite a way off when the ball was passed to him but that picture makes it look much closer. Whatever happened to giving the attacker the benefit of the doubt on offside decisions - didn't that used to be the case?

I've only just seen it on TV and yes, the lines are drawn much closer than I thought they would be.

I believe the 'benefit of the doubt' is now being given if the lines overlap - or something like that - whereas last season an overlapping line would have been given offside.

It's still offside even if it's marginal.

I'm more fuming that Webster made such an awful pass that lead to their equaliser!
