Just wanted to add that I knew Rob, as I played in the same Sunday team as him and often gave him a lift home from training as well as meeting up on board the 7am train to London, when we were working up there.
I fine man, very intelligent, a good sportsman and a mate. My user name is in homage to his Ricky Marlowes Hairpece. I clearly remember that day like most of us on here, two days or so later, when it became clear who had lost their lives, Robs name and photo was in the Argus. Ive never felt sicker in all my life and i will always remember where I was when I opened that paper and the feelings it gave me.
Pulling that Brighton flag over my head gave me such a sense of pride that I knew the man.
