Wait, so given Dunk is already on a four year deal as of the summer, why did people think he might need a new deal?

So what was billed as "good and bad" news is just really "news". Nice one Andy.

Footballers injuries are part and parcel of the game, if Lua Lua had been out for the rest of the season then yes that is bad news, but the fact is he's likely to miss several weeks, that is just news. The same for contract extensions, we've had two of our older players sign contract extensions, again it's just news. Had we announced we've come to an agreement to sign Darren Bent for free from Aston Villa, the deal will be completed when the window opens on January 1st then that could be called good news. A bucket load of meh about both announcements here.

Brighton factually.....
Contracts for Greer and Bruno. Thats not news

They are starting to treat the fans like chumps.....

After the bollox we have had from that dire, drool Finnish fool............

GOOD NEWS is NOT contract extensions it's a victory or two or a big name signing..........

Not even a spork in sight.........

To be fair to the club they never billed it as good and bad news, it was Naylor's hyperbole that span it that way.

End of season DVD released in time for Xmas? :xmas:

Why have they waited so long? After all our season was over well before a ball had been kicked. Shambles.

Who is 'they'?

Once again, its NAYLOR that built up this 'news at 4pm' bullshit, not the club.

Do they really think we're excited by that? Strikes me as typical of the contempt with which the club holds its customers.
I think it was Andy Naylor rather than the club that referred to today's news as good and bad.

To be fair, the club were obviously the ones who informed Naylor there was 'good news' coming up at 4pm. They knew exactly what they was doing.

Or, it's called journalistic licence. They can filter the news, but its up to the journos to pimp it up a bit to get the exposure.

Don't be daft. That's not how it works. The club will have provided this info in a press release, with a 4pm embargo (for whatever reason). They have no influence on Naylor's decision to pre-hype his 'story'. He could have just said NOTHING at all, until he filed his piece.

Club have done nothing remotely wrong, in this instance.
