How does that work out? Surrey scored 106 off 16.1 - how come we have to score more runs off fewer overs?

Not that easy to explain but I will try.
Basically, at the beginning of any innings you have 10 wickets to lose and you know that you have a set amount of overs to do it. The case here is 15 overs.
Because we have the 'maximum resources' to score the runs the target is always increased. It is not best suited to T20 cricket.

It is quite simple to administer but fortunately whenever I have had to use it the scorer normally has a computer programme and produces the revised target at the beginning of each over for me.
