Well at the very least, bringing quality players in, even as potential 3rd and 4th choices, is only going to add to the strength of the squad, and push the existing players to even greater heights. Competition for places in all areas of the pitch is vital.

I believe we can stay up this season due to the fact we now seem to have adequate cover--- almost all over the pitch, a lot of our squad last year were good championship level players, now we are starting to move on in terms of ability and class
we were lucky last year without doubt -- a couple of injuries we could have been really struggling !

I think we should have tried to re-sign that excellent goalkeeper Graeme Smith, (now with Stenhousemuir apparantly), he was terrific the first time round wasn't he?. Would definately have pushed Maty for his place.
