Can't stand the bloke from what I've seen so far, but they're never going to block him from coming to the UK, no matter how many sign the petition. Mrs May & friends have too much to lose to cause a diplomatic issue over it.

He'll come, and I bet there will be street protests on a scale not seen since Blair was in charge. Awful man, but I can't be the only one harbouring a certain fascination with how this is all going to pan out over the next four years. Unsettling times.

Surprised anyone thinks he'll last four years, at this rate 4 months would be more accurate.

Her Maj is no mug. I expect that she is looking forward to giving him lashings of her sarcastic wit and a flea in his ear. She won't be able to do that if he is stopped from coming. She may be the one person who might just get through his thick skull.

I think most are trying to merge the Trump visit and Brexit together. Not sure many knew what they were actually meant to be marching for last night

Petitions which reach 100,000 signatures are almost always debated. But we may decide not to put a petition forward for debate if the issue has already been debated recently or there’s a debate scheduled for the near future. If that’s the case, we’ll tell you how you can find out more about parliamentary debates on the issue raised by your petition.

MPs might consider your petition for a debate before it reaches 100,000 signatures.

We may contact you about the issue covered by your petition. For example, we sometimes invite people who create petitions to take part in a discussion with MPs or government ministers, or to give evidence to a select committee. We may also write to other people or organisations to ask them about the issue raised by your petition.

Good because the other petition asking that he IS afforded a state visit has now reached 100,000 and i would suggest that most who signed that did so to piss off people like you than any real interest in whether that tit comes here on not, when will you people learn to stop whining.

At least three top national security officials — Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Rex Tillerson, who is awaiting confirmation to lead the State Department — have told associates they were not aware of details of the directive until around the time Trump signed it. Leading intelligence officials were also left largely in the dark, according to U.S. officials.

Worth reading that whole stroy.

I just demonstrated peacefully in Brighton against Trump passing laws by executive order which are racist, break his own constitution and break international law. No violence, no smashing anything up, good mixture of people. I'm 50, most were in their 20s but ranged from 10 to 70. No Socialist Workers just lots of different people.

I think it's important to speak out before the hate gets any worse.

This thread shows that football fans are a bit shit at politics and base most of their facts on the Sun.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

ISIS know that Trump and Putin are getting together on a plan to defeat them. All the countries in the ban, apart from Iran, are Daesh war zones.

If there is going to be a joint war effort against Daesh, all the named countries might infiltrate Daesh fighters with refugees. If an action to ban them takes months to go through, that is the time when Daesh would get in. Talking about it for months gives the enemy an advantage.

Very soon Russia, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Kurds, US NATO and even Saudi will be bound to one mission. If a temporary ban on all the countries we will be fighting in, minus Iran, this temporary ban on these countries might be a very good idea with regard to National security.

Have I missed something but has anyone seen any comments from Trump offering condolences to Canada on their attack.

Or does he believe it was acceptable as not on American soil.
