Phat Baz 68 I don't think you should make the mistake of thinking you're the only Albion fan that is feeling disappointed, frustrated or even angry at the moment. Many people will be in a similar mood and everyone is entitled to their own feelings and opinions, however where you will struggle is by bashing out repetitive, poorly formed frustrated messages on here, you'll receive little sympathy. By all means feel free to express yourself but think about how you're doing it, construct an argument or a reason for debate and you'll be received a lot better, certainly more so than calling people names and swearing

nicely put

Barber is the one that should go eversince he's been at the club we have gone backwards.Good Managers dont leave for nothing.

Paul Barber has saved us and raised millions for the albion. He has cut Tony's loss, and enabled us to enjoy a higher playing budget as a result of his work.

What rubbish him and Baldock linked up well and both will score goals have patience it will happen and soon.

And how long exactly are you going to wait for that waste of air to start scoring regularly:albion2:How long has he been with us now, my 17 year old daughter can run around in circles for 90 minutes but she aint in the team

Just a question for Phat Baz and anyone daft enough to want rid of Hyypia. Who do you want to replace him and would you sack your choice of managers if he gets seven points from seven games?

Our rather small front line looks like they are going to struggle, its a bit like Arsenal a few years back, we just need a lump as a alternative ..... Some-one in the Virgo mode

Physical Presence

Three of our last four goals scored from set pieces by central defenders says it all, especially the two Dunk goals. A small team with no wingers will not win you anything in this division. We need several players with a physical presence and wingers or we are done.

If we were being thumped 4-0 or so I would worry but we are not.

The margins are very thin, Ipswich away is always hard however at Brentford we hit the inside of the post early doors and had a goal disallowed inexplicably.

I am not too concerned at present it is a matter of bedding in with a new manager, what we be more useful to the club is a manager prepared to stick around a while as opposed to this constant pre-season change.

Unless something happens in the loan window we only have O'Grady to give us a physical presence and more of an aerial threat. Ok he isn't a world beater and does not greatly inspire me but can score goals in the Championship. Yet he does not make the bench. Therefore we have no real plan B to change our attack if the situation requires.

Talking to some sensible Ipswich fans after last night's game they could not understand why we lump the ball upfield so often, but are not using COG. They very were happy to see their own CBs coping with CMS, Baldock and Colunga.

Last night illustrated just how average our final balls into the opposition box are during open play, we persist in lobbing in a number of mainly aerial crosses when CMS and Baldock are already dwarfed by their markers. Whereas Ipswich consistently fired in a series of quality low and high crosses, that all carried a threat.

If Sami is going to persist with the CMS / Baldock / Colunga combos then it makes less sense to start with KLL and leave Teixeira on the bench until the 80th minute. We desperately need Tex's trickery and mobility on the floor to create openings and half chances for himself or CMS and Baldock to seize upon.
