We have absolutely no idea what informal contacts may have come his way over the past 3 seasons. We do know Dick Knight has been 100 per cent loyal to him - perhaps that might have been because he has demonstrated 100 per cent loyalty to us?

Purely because, under him, we've mainly operated in nosebleed territory of the second tier, for a club of our current size and resources. If we'd have gone down in 2004-5 as the bookies expected, his win-loss record would now look much better with a load more League 1 wins under his belt.Kinky Gerbils said:
