Norwich? I'd be surprised if Glenn wanted out. He looks like he's really enjoying himself here. No guarantee of first team football at Norwich, not that much more cash, and he's the top goalscorer in English football.

Glenn won't be sold. Not for £3m anyway, considering that's what they're bidding for CMS!

Well he has a track record for leaving clubs for more money.....

If Norwich offer enough - he will go and he will want to.

Does he? Glenn's move to Palace looks like a great one in football terms, regardless of the money involved.

Obviously if Norwich "offer enough" he'll go, but it'll need to be a hell of a lot of money. If Murray left it'd put a big dent in our promotion hopes, and I don't think we could buy anyone better. How much would you have to pay for the highest goalscorer in English football, signed from a club who don't want to sell and are trying to get promoted?

Glenn is worth a lot more to us than he is to anyone in the PL, which is why they won't pay the money we'd want.

In Palace pounds he must be at least £347 million

We're spent the last few months in the top 4. Our players are doing very well and we are the divisions top scorers. It really isn't a surprise that our forwards are worth a lot of money.

CMS is reportedly going for £3m? Murray has scored more than twice as many goals. You could have his left boot for £3m.

They will offer £5 Million, which of course as you overvalue your players will reject, Judas knowing he interests PL teams will want out as he will feel he's too big for the club. Form will then nosedive and would end in either of 2 ways -

1- Submits a transfer request to force a transfer through.

2- Form nosediving puts clubs off so he stay.

Well, CMS has 3.5 years left on his contract, Glenn is a free agent in 18 months. If the offer is genuine, Glenn will want to go, and if he's denied a move you will see the sulky side of him.

You know, it's almost as if you're a tad bitter about Glenn leaving. You seem to view him in a very negative light :D

If they offer £5m I don't know if we'd be able to turn it down. Yes, we all want to get promoted, but it's not a certainty and Glenn is 29 after all. £5m is a lot of money and we couldn't blame the board if they took it. Of course, I think it'd mean that we could give up on automatic promotion. I don't think you could replace Glenn with £5m.

I've thought for some time that Murray is the next Holt/Lambert in that he's done his bit in the lower leagues & progressed the higher he's gone. So wouldn't be at all surprised if he didn't do well at Norwich or similar. Which would scupper that lots promotion chances. But would reinforce the view that it's Gus' biggest bollock dropper to date.
