This is why we should maybe pull White from Leeds before the end of their season and loan them Burn because he is a northern lad and would be a decent replacement. The less time he spends at Leeds the lesser the attachment he would have than if he won promotion with them.

Leeds would probably suit Burn as a northerner. Just a snip at £4m if they needed another favour from us.

Just my speculation because he is not only good and strong at defending, he is very good on the ball and distribution. He is certainly going to be faster and fitter than Stephens and would probably be less prone to late tackles because he wont be beaten so often.

On transfer market he is listed as a RB as his secondary position. I would like to see him in either role personally. He seems to be worth 10 times more than Stephens and Montoya put together with all the interest in him in today's market. Stephens is okay but next season he will be 31 pushing...

I wouldn't offload Burn or Duffy to get White here, I would just give White the Stephens role as a defensive midfielder so the opposition has to get through him first. He can also play right back if we needed him or is better than Montoya.

Can we pull him from Leeds in January or is it a strict season long loan?
