Unless it's Leeds we swap places with, in which case they will pay a fortune for him, which will fund the tall striker we need to replace Glenn.

Or we could do whatever we need to do to stay up and then if we do choose to sell any of our players, it's from a position of strength.

Look. I'm not heaping the pressure on White that he would be the difference between staying up or going down, and i'm very impressed we're thinking about the long term to the extent we are. Lets make sure we're thinking about the short term as well though. If Ben White would improve our team, lets get him back in January

It’s a win win situation...calm down everyone or give me a nightmare scenario......... NO... because there isn’t one.

Looking good for Leeds at the moment. Can't see why White would want to come back to us if they were to get promoted; they're a bigger club and he's obviously loving it there.

Could really do with it all going Pete Tong again for Leeds!

Nightmare scoreline, we really need Leeds to stay down.

Why? He’s contracted to us for another 2 seasons after this. If we stay up we’ll be approaching our 4th successive Premier League season. Let’s lose the small-club mentality; we’re ahead of Leeds in every single aspect other than history.

He won’t have much of a choice, he’s contracted to us and Leeds won’t pay what we’d want them to.

I’m not sure if this is incredibly biased or just naive.

If Leeds got promoted to the Prem then they’d absolutely dwarf most of the teams in there, including us.

Dwarf in what respect? History, and that’s it. They’ve not been in the top flight for 16 seasons; let’s live in the present and not have such an inferiority complex.

Not being in the top division doesn't mean clubs stop being big in other ways. Leeds have support up and down the country, worldwide too. They take thousands where ever they go, evening games miles away included. Like it or not, history does play a part too. It raises stature of a club - even if they fall on hard times.

You try telling anyone not a Brighton fan that we're as big or bigger than leeds thesedays, they'll laugh till the other side of christmas.
