[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Point is though it depends on who is coming in - which as yet unknown, to us and more importantly to Bruno.

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Very, very difficult to recruit a new senior person whilst telling them ‘you have to give xx a job or else’ (been there myself on both sides of the discussion). Instant tension between head coach and owner. Incoming head needs to have the ability to build his own team - may very well be that...

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Yes, but until the new manager is known, it can’t even be discussed………so 100% understand why Bruno took the Chelsea option. It was the only certain one he had (as well as all the other pull factors)

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Absolutely doesn’t work. New head coach needs to pick his own crew.

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Exactly…..huge uncertainty for Bruno either way. Doomed to failure if the new guy has a ‘directive’ from Bloom to find a place for him.

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Hey….you’re an aspiring, recently qualified coach. Would you like to continue to work with one of the highest-regarded, most intelligent coaches in the game on maybe triple your current salary, or stay in your current job where there’s a risk the new boss won’t want you in a couple of weeks time...

Would be better if you did one TBH

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Why would he do that ? Potter a known quantity for him, and probably someone he gets on fantastically well with. Why risk staying around and being binned off the day the new coach comes in with his old team ?

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Definitely this……..sure the cash is a factor, but his development as a coach will be the primary motivation.

    Yes, but :lolol:

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Yes. Boehly had decided to get rid of Tuchel several days beforehand according to reports (and I suspect had spoken to both Bloom and Potter - our lack of bleating strongly points to not being surprised). Hardly Oscar-levels of acting required for Potter to throw a fist at the NS on his way...

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

You’re assuming the decision was made yesterday/today. I suspect it was several days ago.

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Definitely. Always knew Potter would leave before too long but hadn’t seen that coming. Does make total sense (when considered rationally and from his perspective), but still hurts.

[Albion] I think we do need to talk about Bruno

Like winning stuff ? Potentially major European titles, that kind of thing ? Plus continuing to learn from someone who he might think is the best coach he's ever worked with, before he goes out on his own at some point later rather than staying and working with an unknown quantity ? Incredibly...
