Given that the club don't quote figures and no other club does either then its really hard to do comparisons with other clubs as to percentage of no shows. How do you know ?
Of course. I'm going too and looking forward.
And agreed certain midweek matches there have been a fair few non attendances from ST holders. But i also remember seeing empty seats for every season at the Amex. And agreed its a bit of inexact science as club don't ever reveal figures.

This is a bit of a myth. We've always like most clubs had ST holder/1901 no shows due to holidays, midweek games etc.
And we had one game against Wigan on a foul Tuesday night, on our worst run of form for years. when reports say 16K actually went through the turnstiles. The other odd thing...
Average Crowds/tickets sold this season are actually on track to be higher than they were in 2012/13 and not far behind 2013/14; the highest ever in the entire history of the club. And ST sales, even considering our disappointing season, are likely to be down by only 5% contrary to nearly all...
they think a fair few of the waiting list will convert, and will do ok on general sales.

We're on course for c 20,000 + ST numbers for the third season in a row. "
If...
PB also says in interview that they've sold 1K more to the the waiting list and expect more when STs go on general sale so not a final number.
(My interpetation) 90% of existing ST holders renewing is approx 19,350 with 1K on waiting list means PB implying (unless i'm mistaken) c20,350 ST...
ST sales were down 6 per cent for 2014/15. And tickets sold /crowd this season will be down by slightly smaller. So a relatively small hit on income but important anyway. They had both though increased nearly 5 fold in 5 years. We as yet don't know what they are for 15/16.
So a trend of Up...
Crowds (or tickets sold) will be slightly down this season but "rapidly declining" ?. With home games against the top 4; Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford to come - all of whom will bring probably capacity away crowds then the current average crowd of 25,327 (the third best in the league) will...
