    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

I like the distinction you make - size is historical whilst quality is about the present.....

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Yep missed a lot of chances but still scored 26 goals in 3 seasons and some of those were brilliant totally of his own making not just tap ins. I think he needs to be given more respect than some people are giving him. Yes he doing badly at Everton , but I don't think that's an indication of 'I...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Think Maupay was ok for Brighton, not outstanding but a lot better than say Locadia. Needed to play in a two and no one wants to do that now. He won games for us and he should be remembered for that.....

Don't think Maupay should be compared to Andone or Connolly. It was interesting that he got rid off AK without even managing him.... He had a process and if you didn't follow the process you were out , that has been successful so no complaints but has been found out at times.

I don't think they had the ball players or style we have using Tross or Gross he better being more direct .

There were aspects of Maupay's game that were good but there were also aspects that weren't , he is not a clinical finisher and often got in the way of movement by making the wrong decision on the positive side he scored some great instinctive goals and put himself about which gave the team some...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

He is a bit full of himself though and not starting is something he cannot tolerate and the fact that we were doing better without him should have been obvious to him that he needed to rein in his enthusiasm and bide his time but because he is who he is a move was probably in his best...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

We have played better without him and I think his ego is too big to be a backup player here. If he would have been happy to do that then IMO he would have been worth keeping but it was not to be.

Wellbeck had a little run out for a few games and in three on the trot he missed a sitter, maybe if he gets a run of games he might be better but I wouldn't hold my breath, work rate is questionable. Hope i am proved wrong.

So who would you play a) Wellbeck has missed some sitters and doesn't work as hard b) Connolly missed sitters workrs harder than Wellbeck but less than Maupay andagain will play better as a pair so not a replacement. c) Tau , doesn't read the game or tackle back. d) Zequiri , had a good game...
