Alonso P6, Max P7 according to that graphic (which I'm taking on trust at this time on a Saturday). Would be great for the sport if Alonso held up Max for most of the race a la Hungary last year with Lewis but I guess it's only Lewis who's really hurt Alonso's massive ego by actually winning stuff.

Looking forward to this one today. One of the great tracks when the cars aren't following the safety car through a flood for two laps. With quick cars at the back there's potential for carnage, clever overtaking, intriguing tactics or all three. Definitely better than watching Newcastle again.

Austria is an odd track like that. It has gravel traps all the way through the middle section, yet at turns 1, 9 and 10 where it can get really tasty or you can gain a massive advantage, there isn't one, while at three the trap is so far up the hill Edmund Hillary would do well to reach it.

A very enjoyable race in the end and well done Charles. Another under the radar haul of points for Merc will please Lewis, George and Toto, but clear that car is still some way off (especially if you put it in a barrier on the Friday :wink: )

Running wide at 9 and 10 is quicker than staying on the track and gives you more speed into the next lap as well. That's why two laps were deleted from anyone who exceeded them in qualifying - because you gain an advantage on lap you're on and the start of the next one.
