Well of course they're fake! Does anyone seriously think street vendors in Paraguay would have nipped over to the Albion shop to buy a few dozen genuine ones (or even placed an order on-line with the club)? I daresay PB is incandescant that the Albion aren't getting any revenue (I'm presuming...
It's all about opinions, innit! Some may cry 'What would he gain/learn/benefit from knocking in a lot of goals at a lower level?' My answer would be 'Quite a lot!' A year of playing 'grown up' football, in the EFL could have him coming back to us tougher, stronger and wiser. Others may disagree...
This is getting very silly nit-picky now. Jamie Vardy didn't play in the third tier, it's true - it was his 31 goals in 36 games in the Conference got him his big break, but no, he didn't actually play in the third tier.
 I'm out of here ................................
No idea. The point is that they all cut their teeth in lower leagues. Some make it, many don't. Some U18 team players make it, many don't. Some loans work, some don't.
Fortunately the management at the club will know better than any of us whether loaning out Enciso is the way to go or not - and...
Jamie Vardy did it - and so did Ian Wright, Andy Cole, Harry Kane (via going out on loan) ..... oh, and some chap named Glenn Murray. Bobby Zamora didn't do too badly either.
But that is exactly the point - instead of playing those 24 games for us he should have been out banging in the goals, probably in League1. Then he might be playing for us now!
I thought we already had Welbeck signed up for next season? Agree that Zeqiri and Khadra's loans are to put them in the shop window, but I'm not quuite so sure about Sima - we paid quite a lot for him, I believe, and he's had a shocking time with injuries since he signed for us, and has become...
Good post - very much agree. Enciso has played in the first team, and shown flashes of class - very much he same situation that Connolly was in, and we all know now, with hindsight*, what a big mistake it was not to send him out on loan a lot earlier than we did. The only thing on which I...
We can point out that if they sign for Chelsea they won't get into the first team but will be sold to us (Lamptey, Gilmour) or loaned to us while they decide where to send them (Colwill).
We can probably start calling Chelsea our feeder club in all honesty. Best come straight to the real thing...
Looks like we went for it at the end. Got stuck in a bit too, judging by the yellows!
Wonder if young Tsoungui was hooked innediately after being booked to save a second card? Stuff Palarse - Caicedo, Mac Allister, Welbeck and Trossard in for the return!
Edit: Oops - wrong thread...
Rotherham? Oh lor' - get with the message FFS. It's STOKE! Stoke, Stoke, bloody Stoke - nothing more, nothing less (it has to be them for their wet Tuesday nights). Doh! Some people have no bloody idea!
Really? That 'North of Watford gap - can't understand what they're saying' line has worn pretty thin over the years. As a born and bred southerner who has lived 'oop north', that gibe abourt not speaking English is just so much stereotyping bollocks. Scouse, Scottish, Geordie, Brummie - not a...
Keeping him here is certainly one option, and the club will know what is best - but we have a loan manager, and a full support network - he wouldn't just be dumped hundreds of miles away and left to get on with it. Besides, despite what some people might think, northerly outposts like, say...
