Just couldn't get into it this year tbh as there was no TV coverage available while we were away, so I lost interest in it. So busy on our return as well that I just didn't have much time!
Will see if I can watch the highlights while Im at the desk over the next few days...
First time for years I've barely watched any of the TDF...away for the entire first week - and I think it was only 4 stages in the end that I saw.
Any good? Worth re-watching right from the start on GCN+?
I think today could be an ideal chance for someone like Mohoric or Schachmann to get up the road if their legs feel ok after the last 2 days.
Looking at the GC earlier, and was amazed to see Hirschi sitting fourth last. I know hes been riding "support" for Pog, but how the bubble has burst...
Perfect day for a breakaway to gain the usual 20mins today, while the GC guys take it easy.
Never seem to get a proper Moreno Argentin / Thierry Marie 200km solo attack these days though?
Mine too....used to really annoy me "back in the day" when Ch4 would go to an ad break as a summit was crossed, and pretty much ignore all the descending off the mountain.
A wonderful aspect of the sport that doesn't often get the credit it deserves imo - but thank god for GCN+ and being able to...
Expecting a low key day from the GC contenders today after yesterdays monuMENTAL efforts, with maybe a few digs from some on the upper slopes of Alpe d'Huez to take back a few seconds here and there.
Bastille Day + Galibier + Croix de Fer + Alpe d'Huez = Thibaut Pinot Time! :thumbsup...
