I'm not stating that as a fact, I don't trust Putin at all. It's very easy to suggest one thing and do another, particularly such a corrupt country.

But did he support that? Words are easy. The sceptic in me feels that it's quite probable that he was supporting and funding them.

Putin is saying this would not have happened if there was peace on 'our land'. Why did he do next to nothing to ensure there was peace?

It could also be passports recovered and put on a bit of turf/ground as they didn't have a filing cabinet to hand.

What if the missile hit the tip of a wing or damaged the tail and not a direct hit of the fuel supply? We don't have enough information as yet to discover whether there was communication. Aside from that, I jumped out of a plane from 10,000ft and itnreally isn't that far up.

If they could pin the blame on the other side, perhaps?
