I've harped on about Cymbals Eat Guitars many a time on this board but I've managed to snag an early copy of their 4th album 'Pretty Years' and my word it is impressive. Indie rock by way of Bruce Springsteen and James Chance.

The top 2 are iron-clad, immovable works of joynoise. Pillar Point isn't usually something I'd listen to genre-wise but its really struck something with me.
I have not been able to stop listening to The Prettiots. I can best describe it as Kimya Dawson meets Jenny Lewis meets a ukulele.
Cannot recommend them enough.
