    [Albion] Football acadamies

A full article in The Times today and it features Lancing prominently. Well worth a read by whatever method you choose. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/sport/football/article/next-premier-league-academy-player-7992vxkvj

    [Football] DAZN

Just a quick heads up for fellow Spanish residents DAZN have an excellent deal for all Premier League games as well as other sports. It includes the Rayo Vallecano friendly and, if you sign up by tonight (the offer ends 31 July) it's only 12.99 euros a month a saving of 6 euros a month. No...

[Misc] How warm are you today?

Well at 1600hrs today (generally hottest time of the day here) the temperature on the terrace is 42c. That's with the toldos out shading the tiles. Ignore the time on the unit, only inserted battery recently and forgot to reset.

    [Albion] Our new supporters?

Of all the bizarre things I've seen or heard in my lifetime this comes close to taking the biscuit. But just imagine having the final in Brighton instead of Belgium? Perhaps with our belgium connection we could be sponsoring such madness.

    [Albion] The Sunday Times

The Sunday Times and indeed The Times continue their love affair with the Albion, the latest piece in today's issue. Whether or not you require a ladder to read it I know not. But it's certainly a very complimentary article...

    [Albion] Jason Steele

Interesting article in The Times today regarding the life of second choice 'keepers. Our Jason features and it's well worth a read. Probably paywalled but you know the way round. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/friends-and-foes-the-back-up-goalkeepers-who-warm-the-bench-z7hg7f7g9

[Football] Beers and being on the end of robust tackles: How Ralf Rangnick learned about English foot

Love the article, on line this evening, in The Telegraph about Rangnick's introduction to football in the UK - at Southwick FC of all places. I won't c&p it as it's 'naughty' but if you can read it do enjoy it.

[Football] Home & Away shirts for the season

Shock and horror at the thought of the 'team up the road' kits being ranked better than ours. Mind you many Premier league teams are for this season as shown in today's Daily Telegraph. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/0/premier-league-new-kits-2021-22-every-shirt-ranked/

    [Help] Google Chrome/ Windows Edge

May I ask the tech savvy fellow NSC's a problem? I've used Google Chrome for the past 10+ years without any problems. The response is fast here in Spain (300mbs speed) BUT since the last 2 updates (Windows 10), in particular the last one a couple of weeks ago, it has been awful. Slow to load...

[Albion] GP in today's Daily Mail

Having committed the heinous crime of reading the aforementioned paper, I just wondered if any other NSC's would like a little look at this article. I apologise for upsetting the vociferous on here who think it's the devils work - but hey it's freedom of choice...

Apologies if this has been posted before, but this is the first time I've seen this art work. Seems very reasonable to me. http://www.jkmartwork.com/brighton-and-hove-albion-88-c.asp

[Misc] The Sky Tonight, June 30

I know many NSC members take an interest in our wonderful universe so I wonder if you are aware of the 'collision', or so it seems, of Venus and Jupiter tonight? Venus, the very bright one, and Jupiter, not quite so, will seem to almost touch each other peaking at the closest point tonight...

[Travel] Holidaying in the Southern Spain this year?

If you are and you like a little adventure, then the opening of el Caminito del Rey is a must! In it's old pre-reformed era it was viewed many times on Youtube, and scary it was! Now after a 4 million euro rebuild it is open again to the public. However you cannot just turn up and expect to...

    10 years ago today...

I joined NSC. Without being too patronising what a wonderful site it is. Not only for keeping me up to speed with 'The Team' but all the news in the Sussex area, and not forgetting the 'heated' political debates! Just hope I'm around to celebrate the next 10!
