[Travel] Rome - where are you staying

Hotel Le Petit. Near to the main Termini station and a Metro. Looks a reasonably priced option with various twin and triple rooms.

[Albion] Ibrahim Osman **Signing Confirmed 10/02/24**

Looks nowhere near the finished article but clearly offers elite level pace and the ability to press with great intensity. Would guess he’s got every chance of coming straight into the first team squad for next season.

[Albion] Luton Town vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Player Ratings ***

Utterly dreadful team performance from the 1st to 90th minute. Only Baleba and Van Hecke put in performances of a reasonable standard. I don’t know where to start with the rest but fair play to Luton who impressed throughout.

[Albion] Marseille v Albion ticketing - allocation and priority windows etc

I appreciate it’s a new experience for the club (and supporters) but I’m interested to see if we handle the process differently if we advance or qualify again in future seasons. The gaps between buying windows made it difficult for groups or family’s with different loyalty point levels to feel...

[Albion] Marseille v Albion ticketing - allocation and priority windows etc

Only way this sells out is by officially removing the pre-registration dependency and going down to purchase history.

[Albion] Marseille v Albion ticketing - allocation and priority windows etc

Flying out 06:50 Thursday morning from Heathrow with a connect in Brussels. Landing in Marseille @ 12:45 local time so hoping to have tickets and a beer in hand by about 2pm.

[Albion] Marseille v Albion ticketing - allocation and priority windows etc

Can see them opening this up to people who didn’t pre-register after the last window.

[Albion] Going to the Amex with boisterous kids

I’m in a very similar position as my 7 year old really wanted to join me for both Liverpool games. He’s seen a handful of games previously but the World Cup featuring the likes of Mac Allister and Mitoma really caught his imagination. I usually go in the North. While he’d love the atmosphere I...

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

I just can’t see Arsenal making an offer that convinces us to sell in January. That said, I wouldn’t rule out Chelsea taking advantage with a creative offer that involves Colwill and maybe us keeping Caicedo on loan through to the summer.

    [Albion] Next Brighton manager

Knutsen seems the most obvious fit but I wouldn't be shocked if the following managers feature: AVB: Brings experience, tactical adaptability and a consistently high win ratio Russell Martin: Building a great reputation for implementing a similar style without the backing and staff Potter...

[Albion] Fulham vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

It will surely feature in coaching videos as a prime example of how to squander a generous amount of stoppage time. Took 4 minutes to created a looped clearance that barely made halfway. Fulham couldn’t believe how we played into their hands.

Dunk had a shocker as well but Webster and Sanchez combined cost us about 4 minutes of play by dicking about in stoppage time.

Fulham are pressing us into poor decisions and hopeful forward passes. Need to calm down and get March and Mwepu into the game.

That’s shockingly bad, even by Nike standards.

[Albion] Marc Cucurella *Signed For Chelsea 05/08/2022*

I think it’s all a sign of just how much City want him but realise they face having to pay a huge premium to secure the preferred target. Other top clubs circling, PL adaptation and contract length all put us in a strong position that City would like to diminish. Anything they can do to damage...

[Albion] Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

2 really poor goals to concede but general play has been better than in recent weeks. Both players have their merits but I’m baffled that Gross and Duffy start. Alzate and Moder look bright.

[Albion] Kacper Kozłowski SINGS a four-and-a-half year deal

If we get this over the line it’s a massive coup. He’s genuinely considered to be a once in a generation talent over in Poland.

    [Albion] Season Ticket Farce @PaulBarber

This is exactly my position. I can't imagine the revenue gained outweighs the missed spending that results from the empty seats it causes. I'd happily pay a premium myself every season to be able to transfer the ticket, provided it was simple and free to share.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wolverhampton Wanderers *** Official Match Thread ***

That was terrible. Nobody played well and we rarely had players on the same wavelength. So many occasions where we just gifted Wolves possession within 1 or 2 passes of our own. When you perform that badly in general play, it’s even more frustrating to totally squander every set piece.
