£300k for a winger not good enough to make the bench for Bristol City. One of my good friends writes an Argyle fanzine & when I said we'd signed him he said we'd been conned. As an Argyle player he was described as "League One at best"
Bargain.
You may want to get a refund for your fees if that's the education your university provided you. Shocking use of English.
Got my ticket, got my hotel, looking forward to the match but am already prepared for that sick feeling I'll have on the morning of the game, non alcohol enduced I may add.
Started secondary school in 1988 and during that time things that were popular were:
Coca Cola/Sprite yo-yos
Shell suits
Reebok Pumps
Heads & volleys kickings
Pontoon Raps
Ouiji boards
Underage drinking/smoking/buying porn mags from Dartford market
Buying music from Our Price or Sam Goodies...
I might take his repetitive ramblings about winning a friendly over 100 years ago a little more seriously if he made the effort to watch his beloved team more than three times a season. The man's a joke.
When your ST prices go up, lack of promotion & the many non-renewing supporters vote with their wallets the decline of bums on seats will force you, TheMajor, to reconsider your one trick pony obsession with attendances and force you to consider the real issue which is who's the better team...
Good evening & happy new year to my Palace comrades & Brighton friends, I hope all of you a fantastic 2013.
I'm torn on this. Wilf is undoubtably a top class player, worth crazy money & part of what makes football a financially incredulous occupation. Will Palace go up with him? Possibly.
Will...
True. Football's evolved since those days. Hopefully there'll be no repeat of the policing fiasco in and around Brighton in September. I think the Met will have more control & more sense than Sussex rozzers.
I'm unsure why we're 13/10 compared to your 23/10, our form's scratchy but I suppose home advantage, previous result & no game at the weekend have something to do with the odds.
I think it's a very valid question. If, say, Brighton were playing Man City I'd be in two minds whether I'd prefer you to get spanked or Man City to get shown up by a much weaker opposition.
Southampton fans are morons anyway, warned not to do it but the neandertheals feel that they're above the law.
Living in this shitty part of the south coast I get first hand experience daily.
