I reckon he'll end up back at Vale on loan if you can't farm him out anywhere - he'll have to put himself in the shop window somewhere although I can't believe that a player of his standard seems to come at such a price. If he had his limitations with us in League Two I think he needs to lower...

We've signed Rob Taylor for 2 years and Louis Dodds has been offered a contract who has done a bit of moonlighting on the left (although he is a bit of an enigma and were not sure where he belongs). However Taylor who is first choice for the spot at present has had an indifferent time of late...

Disappointed I asked now - he sounds just what we need but as you say it's unlikely he'll choose Vale over a host of league 1 clubs.

If Cox is predominantly LW I can't see that we'd go for him as we already have competiton within the squad already. A solid, ball winning midfielder to compliment the endevour of Loft and give Griffith some competition and you'd be talking.

There have been murmurings of a season long loan at Vale next season. Has anything been mentioned from Brighton's point of view or is Davies off elsewhere or giving it another crack with you guys?
