I love Mac Allister. What a player.
I don’t usually get that attached to players but I love him. Love the way he plays football, love the man. It makes me happy just watching him. I love him. God I wish he would come back one day.

Definitely. He was pretty average for quite a while when he first joined us. Potter then RDZ deserve huge credit for the player he has become.
I don't consider him a legend, but a significant highlight. In recent years . . . He Found his feet here, honed his game and PL craft, under our tutelage, over a 2 year period . . . Shined for a season then f***ed off asap for the big ones . . . . . .which was expected, with TB's blessing, clearly a pre arranged financial agreement, which pleased all parties. . . The biggest deal is that he went with respect and dignity, which is better than most. That's what endears.

Yeah, absolutely adore him. He's the sort of player you imagined all footballers you admired were like when you were a kid. A match winner who genuinely cares. As you get older you start to realise next to none of them are actually like that. Alexis is.

He's a pretty standard midfielder. I always thought he could never really handle the big occasions tbh. Think we did well getting as much as we did for him. Has hardly set the world alight. If he wasn't Argentinian he wouldn't have won a world cup either so that doesn't count.
Yep the hype on here is ridiculous. He struggled the first half of the season but now he's a had a few good games against the likes of us Sheffield united etc (us!) he's a monster player.
Watch very carefully when he plays a real big boy like city or arsenal and things don't quite go the same way. He's a very good player but if I'm being really harsh he's not quite good enough for someone like city.

He has the talent to have a long career at the top as it’s his football intelligence that powers his superb game, not so much his physical attributes.
That means that when we re-sign him in 2030, he’ll still have plenty of good seasons for us left!

I really do think he is already one of the best in the world.
He’ll probably go to Real Madrid, and given the pace of the game out there, he’ll look even better….
For me the drone footage of THE penalty elevates Alexis above 99% of Albion players, even more so than the World Cup.

Loved him as a player for us and has always come across as a thoroughly decent chap.
But when I look around at other transfer fees (including the £110m for Caicedo) I will forever have the feeling that we gave him away. For only £35m Liverpool got a WC winner and one of the most versatile midfielders in world football.
