I might be missing something here, but do some WH fans GENUINELY believe that a guy who was manager of a club two managers ago – and was effectively 'sacked', regardless of what the press release said, from that club – would do it a favour by denying an opposition player the opportunity to play in a match between the two? All the while knowing that the manager would not be picking set player anyway?

My word, some people are thick :dunce:
Well there are plenty of people out there who genuinely believe that an international manager with a genuine chance of winning his country's first trophy for 58 years continuously didn't pick a player because almost 30 years ago he played for a team (where he made the fewest appearances out of any of the 3 teams that he played for) who are the rivals of the team the player currently plays for.

Yes, they are.

Haven't read all the posts but I'm guessing WHU told Ghana he wasn't fit and Ghana, within their rights, wanted their own people to assess him.

If you haven't yet watched the highlights of West Ham beating Freiberg last night.

This is what we missed out on, scored 2 brilliant goals (4th and 5th) and the 4th goal is one of goals of season.

Great run and finish

Got to somehow get these key signings over the line :(

Not signing him wasn't based on the board "not getting it over the line". Deal was agreed, the player and/or agent apparently didn't want to sign on the dotted line incase a better offer/club came in. Brighton were right to not be mucked about, I don't care if he goes on to do well, fails the no dick heads policy.

We literally kept the number 10 shirt available for him on the eve of the season. It was only when it was clear he wasn't signing that Enciso got his number 10 and Gilmour moved to number 11. Enciso even did the pre-season photoshoot with the birthday cake wearing number 11 on his shorts because the number 10 was spoken for. I don't think there can reasonably be blame for the club on this one.
