is there any value in passing the hat round for these lads? There are always gonna be extra expenses not to mention the money taken, cost of replacing a passport for a start?
I’ll happily kick off with a score (I’m just not good at organising this type of thing)
I’m fully with this il chuck tenner in happily

Phone home. As a father, I'd be worried if my kids were out here. Give someone at home a ring just to say it was an isolated incident. All over Sky Sports News now. Lie if you have, to put them at ease back home.
Meanwhile, Jack and friend, all the best.
Quite - I'm not going to relax tonight until I get my daughters "back safely in the AirB&B" whatapp message

Hopefully these scum won’t target females but you never know - I’d be the same 👍

Giant cartoon tifo of an Albion fan pulling a moony would be great at the Amex

Merely a flesh wound - onto the game @jackalbion 👍🙌
True but I suspect painful nonetheless and just being a victim of violence is traumatic- the X clip that @Thunder Bolt posted is just heartbreaking. Our fans going out to Italy to support their team, enjoying the City of Rome, chance to have a holiday completely marred by unprovoked attacks, robbery and physical harm. Any cherished memories of going to see us playing Roma in our first ever European competition will be tinged with a negative episode for the victims I am sure, that in any other circumstance they would rather just forget. It is just sad.

My friend was stabbed outside a kebab house many years ago. The physical recovery didn't take long at all but mentally it took him a long time to recover, really knocked his confidence and caused him a lot of anxiety

Jacks mum is out there as well and will be aware of what's happened.

Jack was attacked. In a separate incident, two other fans were attacked, who were with Joey Thorpe, who is speaking here.

Joey was probably with Jack and was attacked in the same incident.

They're both in the same group that travel to games.

The fee for an emergency passport is pricey too. My daughter had to fork out circa 120 euro in Paris eight years ago. Reasonable to assume the Government have hiked the price since.
You should be able to claim the cost back on your travel insurance, if you are a victim of passport theft.

Really sorry to hear about this, and trust that everyone involved gets the help and support that they need.

Let's hope that this wasn't football related in any way.
