So many mistakes.

There is a legal means, charge him and convict him under the insurrection act but they won't do that as they have no case.

He said he would be a dictator for 1 day, probably firing rogue judges and DAs.

Your paranoid and its a revolution not a civil war.

There was enough evidence for the judge in the Colorado ballot case to conclude that Mr Trump had engaged in insurrection, so you are probably wrong to state that they wouldn't have a case if they were to bring charges.

Whether that case would be strong enough to obtain a conviction in a court of law I doubt we'll ever know, as I suspect the decision not to bring an insurrection case anywhere probably was a political one.

The Supreme Court notably didn't make any ruling one way or the other on whether Mr Trump actually did engage in insurrection, although he'll undoubtedly try and claim they exonerated him.

No, I think the basic point is that section 3 only applies to people standing for state level positions, not federal level positions. That's why the SCOTUS voted 9-0.

Correct. They decided the case on the basis that section 3 only applies to state-level positions. They did not consider whether he is an insurrectionist.

They've charged him with so much made up stuff so why not insurrection? Why a virtually unarmed insurrection? 7 times as many people died in the BLM riots.

The problem I have with your argument and most on here is they lack any logical consistency. so full of holes dude. If its that flakey then its because you are consuming BS.

I'm not sure I've made any arguments particularly, though I certainly stated a couple of opinions in my last post.

I do have a couple of genuine questions for you though, as I'm interested in the answers.

What charges against Mr Trump or his companies were made up?

If only some of the people involved in an insurrection are armed* is it any less of an insurrection? Is there a certain percentage of armed people you need to reach?

How are the BLM riots relevant?


* 'armed' probably requires definition.

When you say 'charged him with so much made up stuff' - can you provide any court cases where Trump has been acquitted of the charges please? Not the politically determined impeachment - but proper cases. The only court cases I can recall have all ended in guilty verdicts and fines.

Also - if all these cases were 'made-up' then surely his best tactic would be to get them over with quickly, and get acquittals. Then he can go round saying how victimised he is with some justification. But no - his tactic is actually to delay them as long as possible so that he can scrub the charges when president again. Why?

Seemingly so.

That said, it's quite something to have so many made up cases bought against you and yet still manage to lose them all, despite spending 4 years packing every level of judiciary with favourable judges.
