Takes a brave Tory MP to stand up against the mob who have taken control of their historic party.
Not so much. She’s already announced she’s not standing in the coming General Election.

Would the Tory members vote for her? Many still hold strange moralistic views.Entirely unsure what her brother has to do with anything? As if that somehow makes her a less credible candidate just by association.
Bizarre thing to reference, IMO.
Being a liar seems to go down well with a lot of the Great British Public.Penny Mordaunt is a proven liar (Turkey and veto) with a convicted paedophile brother.
Probably one of the best red wall Tories, she'd lose her seat regardless. Not so much. She’s already announced she’s not standing in the coming General Election.

She's in an interesting position. There was a poll out this week that stated she was the only senior Tory with a positive net approval rating (it was just 2%, but that was enough). Some of her competitors for leader had an appalling rating, I think Braveman was -60% (or something). There have been reports from political reporters that Mordaunt is the only leader that the Labour party fears, yet the indications are that she has little chance of being elected leader and if they replace Sunak, they'll replace him with someone even less popular.Would the Tory members vote for her? Many still hold strange moralistic views.
https://news.sky.com/story/keir-sta...he-faces-questions-over-trans-rights-12848438Can someone explain Sunak’s jibe about trans people to me? The 99% thing?
I don’t get it.
In the meantime, whilst politicians are creating culture wars.
Central government have cut back on its contribution to local councils, hoping that many go bankrupt allowing them to land grab for SEZs.Meanwhile a handful of Council's could bump up their council tax by 10%....
So Labour dumps the £28bn eco pledge - the one policy anyone has ever heard of - and there’s not a peep from the Starmer fan boys on this thread.. funny that
Probably because there's a separate thread for Starmer? This one is about the evil Tories.....So Labour dumps the £28bn eco pledge - the one policy anyone has ever heard of - and there’s not a peep from the Starmer fan boys on this thread.. funny that
