I don't think we will. However I think we may have had the best window of all the premier league sides
Really?... in what capacity?

I think we’ll get Gil on loan from spuds as a March ‘replacement’ but also to help prevent Adingra/Mitoma being over-played when they’re back.

We’re as soft as a soft thing in central midfield so I wouldn’t mind trying for a Hojberg type of player until Baleba’s up to speed next season.

Other than that, don’t think we’ll do much else.

If we fail to sign a winger or defensive midfielder, is it OK to say that it’s been a terrible transfer window?

It’s been obvious all season that we lack a defensive midfielder. De Zerbi only seems interested in Gilmour and Gross there, but neither of them have the skillset or physical attributes of the DM we require. And as it stands, we’re going into the rest of the season in the exact same situation, unless RDZ decides to start playing Baleba more regularly.

We’ve known all season we’d lose Adingra and Mitoma for a fair chunk of games. We’ve known since Man City away that Solly won’t play again this season. And yet we’re now about to go into our 7th consecutive game without a recognised winger.

I know there’s an element of luck at play, but I still can’t see how this is anything over than poor squad planning.

Doubt we will be signing more and if we don’t, I predict RDZ going a little Poyet

Maybe even full on Poyet, if so ‘C’est la vie” it’s been fun whilst he’s been here but we all know it won’t last

Agreed. Fully expecting today to draw a blank transfers wise. RDZ must be fuming.

It's just not a high bar though. No one has done any deals of note, many teams just doing loan business.

If Barco's decent then we will have had a good comparative window to many EPL clubs - but we won't have addressed major shortcomings in the current squad thanks to injuries and several summer signings not really working.
