You have just described anyone on arguing football forum there.

Any way let’s move on from this and get back to the thread title.

Loz you know as well as we do that is difficult when you have posters like Dougie and Milo derailing threads.

I don’t think I said anything to deserve that if I am honest

Well yes completely misconstruing my post and saying I was evil prob was wrong eh… but I think you’re a good egg so apologises if I came across wrong but I would never so much as prod anything to do with a person losing their life - it’s 1000000000x more important than football teams. I was just saying the 2 are separate incidents - certainly where BHA fans are concerned and nobody is being sick with any post about Cantona.

Interesting comments regarding the unfortunate death of a Palace fan and the link to the Cantona incident and one thing we can be sure of is that this was a act of football violence. Had various conversations about this with Palace friends and feel their anger and pain, but if Eric was too blame for this, how about blame for the idiot that insulted the Frenchman (Simmonds?), if he did not run 11 rows down the seats to throw abuse then maybe there would be no perceived links. Bottom line is, no one should go to a game of football and not come home, irrespective of the reason. RIP Paul
Nixon.

With ever action there is a consequence it’s just a pity the the consequence was far greater than the action and happened to some poor soul who had nothing to do with it.

Agree, wrong place at wrong time and a real tragedy with no justification for violence. Never understood why anyone feels the need for violence, just because you support a different team.

Good words by the way and you win a gold medal for being the one of the few decent Palace fans on this platform, please continue to post sense.

Generally loz you contribute to what the thread is about. Maybe I should have used Milo instead. Hopefully the thread goes back to where it should be

.... So, what do Palace Fans fear most?

Zaha "Mr Tumble" looks like he's staying.
Eze will be back, but when?
Signed individuals but do they have a team?
Inexperienced Manager?

Thats more like it

Zaha "Mr Tumble" looks like he's staying. Yes it does not even a mention of him going ( which might mean he is ?) and the fact he has set up The Zaha academy in Croydon for kids seems like he isnt thinking of going far.
Eze will be back, but when? Hopefully not rushed back, his one for the future
Signed individuals but do they have a team? That is the age old question, but the fact they have played together either at youth level or on loan looks good
Inexperienced Manager? Well this is the exciting part for me..who else was there ? just the same old same old, he should have good conections and is well respected and has also got in place an experenced back room staff. Hopefuly it will pay off but at least it new.

Wilf opens a diving school and at the front is a kid in a Brighton away kit....! Great stuff

Wayne Hennessey's son also in attendance in the black shirt.....

Slightly pedant:

Wayne Hennessey - Nazi saluting CPFC2010 ex player & perfect fit for them.

Wayne Henderson - Ex BHA keeper.

Let’s not confuse the 2 - not fair on our one.

Sorry, how is Wayne Hennessey a perfect fit for them? What point are you trying to make?

Wilf staying is a good thing if he can lose some of the petulance he showed last season when things didnt go his way
Eze wont be back until the New Year based on reports. he will be missed, but as loz said, lets not rush him back
We will only know if we have a team when the season proper starts. We have some key individuals in the spine of the team: Guiata, Ward, Kouyate, Macarthur, Schlupp, Zaha and Benteke
PV has been coaching and managing since 2011, so not totally inexperienced, nust not in the PL yet

Biggest fear for me would be a poor start and the board panics and gets rid of PV as they did with FdB. Worst scenario would be coming after defeat to BHA at Selhurst at the end of September, especially as our Sky friends will be broadcasting it to the nation

Hopefully neither of the above happens

I think we all know what he’s implying, but he doesn’t seem to mind using the term Pikey on a regular basis, while he reports Palace fans for alleged homophobia and racism.
Double standards ? ???

Hopefully neither of the above happens

First five games so important for you!

Well you are very naive then. The Cantona incident and his subsequent ban had a direct link to the ridiculous level of violence that MU fans directed at that CP fan.

No you are naive swallowing that BS

I see our more challenged neighbours, to be clearer the ones who burnt their town down, have sold a slice of the business to a money man
